Frequently asked questions
How do I calculate the number of rolls?
Strips per roll = roll length ÷ height. Strips needed = perimeter ÷ roll width. Rolls = strips needed ÷ strips per roll (rounded up).
What are the standard dimensions?
A classic roll is often 0.53 m wide by 10 m long. Check your product, some vary.
Should I account for pattern repeat?
Yes: paper with a pattern repeat uses more. This tool excludes the repeat — add 1 roll of margin.
What about doors and windows?
The calculation does not subtract openings, which leaves a natural margin useful for offcuts and touch-ups.
