Frequently asked questions
How do I calculate the number of packs?
Area with waste = area × (1 + waste ÷ 100). Packs = area with waste ÷ coverage per pack, rounded up.
What waste percentage should I plan?
5% for a simple straight lay, 10% for a diagonal lay or complex room, up to 15% for herringbone.
Where do I find coverage per pack?
On the packaging or product sheet (often 1.5 to 2.5 m² per pack depending on plank size).
Should I buy one extra pack?
It is wise: keeping a pack allows future repairs from the same batch (identical shade).
