Frequently asked questions
How do I calculate portions?
Total = quantity per person × number of guests. E.g. 150 g × 8 = 1200 g.
What quantity per person?
Common guides: ~150 g of meat, ~80 g of dry pasta, ~60 g of raw rice. Adjust for appetite and menu.
Why a margin?
The +10% margin covers big appetites and seconds. Increase it for a buffet or teenagers.
Which unit to use?
Any (g, cl, pieces…). The calculation is a simple product, the unit is kept.
