working days · both ends included

Count the real working days, not the calendar days

A deadline “within 15 working days” isn’t counted on the calendar: you must remove weekends and public holidays. This tool does it automatically, with a Saturday option and a field for your national or regional holidays.

    1. Choose the two dates

Start and end, both included in the total.

    2. Adjust the weekend

Saturday and Sunday off by default; tick to work on Saturday.

    3. Paste your holidays

One YYYY-MM-DD date per line — they are removed from the total.

Example: Monday to the following Friday

    ItemValue
    Calendar days12
    Weekends removed2
    Holidays removed0
    Working days10

The calculation includes both ends: remember this for a contractual deadline. Holidays vary by country and region — enter your own for an exact result.

    Frequently asked questions

Working days vs business days: what’s the difference?

In some countries “business days” means every day except Sunday and holidays (often 6 days/week); “working days” are the days actually worked, usually Monday to Friday (5 days). This tool defaults to working days; tick “Saturday” to include it.

    Are both dates included?

Yes, the calculation includes the start date and the end date. From Monday to Friday of the same week you therefore get 5 working days, not 4.

    How do I add holidays?

Paste one date per line in YYYY-MM-DD format in the dedicated field. Holidays falling on a weekend are not double-counted: they are already removed as a weekend day.

    What is it actually for?

To work out a contractual deadline (“delivery within 10 working days”), plan leave without wasting days off, estimate a project workload in person-days, or check an administrative deadline.
