How is the difference calculated?
The tool counts the total number of days between the two dates, then expresses that span in weeks, and in years + months + days. Real month lengths and leap years are taken into account.
What are business days?
These are Monday to Friday, excluding Saturdays and Sundays. The tool counts them automatically (without accounting for public holidays, which vary by country).
Does the order of the dates matter?
No. If the end date is earlier than the start date, the tool swaps them to always return a positive duration.
How is this different from the age calculator?
The age calculator runs from a birth date to today (or a given date), while this one measures the gap between any two dates.
