Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between single and tiled?
Single mode places one mention, in the center. Tiled mode repeats it across the whole image. Tiled protects better against cropping, because the watermark covers the entire visual.
What opacity should I choose?
For a discreet yet visible watermark, 20 to 40% works well. Higher and it becomes intrusive; lower and it is removed too easily. The angle (often -30°) also makes it harder to erase cleanly.
Does a watermark really prevent theft?
It deters and signs authorship, but does not make the image untouchable: a discreet watermark can be removed. For strong protection, prefer tiled mode, medium opacity, and text crossing the key areas.
Is my image sent anywhere?
No. The image is loaded and redrawn on a canvas in your browser, then exported locally. No upload, which suits personal or confidential photos.
