Estimate a resin print’s cost
Enter the resin used (mL), the bottle price and its volume: the tool gives the resin cost and the cost per litre.
The method
- Cost = (mL ÷ bottle volume) × price
- Cost per litre = price ÷ volume × 1000
- Volume comes from the resin slicer
- Add alcohol and consumables separately
Example
| Input | Value |
|---|---|
| Resin used | 30 mL |
| Bottle | 1000 mL |
| Bottle price | 40 |
| Resin cost | ≈ 1.20 |

Frequently asked questions
How is the cost calculated?
Cost = (mL used ÷ bottle volume) × bottle price. E.g. 30 mL from a 1000 mL bottle at 40 → 1.20.
Where do I see the resin volume used?
Your resin slicer (Lychee, CHITUBOX…) shows the volume in mL for the print.
Should I count cleaning alcohol?
This tool computes resin; isopropyl alcohol and consumables are added separately.
What about electricity?
Resin printers draw little power (LCD + motor). You can add it via the print-cost tool.
