Frequently asked questions
Where are the numbers placed?
You choose from six positions: three at the top (left, centre, right) and three at the bottom. The number is drawn with a small margin from the edge.
Can I start at a number other than 1?
Yes. Set the “starting number” to begin at 0, 1, or any integer — handy when a cover should not be counted.
Which formats are available?
Three: the number alone (1, 2, 3…), the “1 / N” form that also shows the total, and “Page 1” with a prefix translated into your language.
Is my data private?
Yes. The PDF is processed in your browser; no file is sent. The numbering font is embedded locally.
