Crop to exactly the right proportions
A square thumbnail, a 16:9 banner, a 9:16 portrait: each use has its ratio. This tool locks the chosen proportion and lets you move the area, with a real-time preview of the result.

Frequently asked questions
How does ratio locking work?
Choose a ratio (for example 16:9) and the crop area keeps that proportion as you move or resize it. In “Free” mode, you crop with no shape constraint.
Is quality preserved?
Yes: the crop is applied at the image’s native resolution. If you crop a 480 × 270 px area from a large photo, the exported PNG is exactly 480 × 270 px, with no destructive resampling.
Can I move the crop area?
Yes, drag it with the mouse or finger to position it, and use the size slider to grow or shrink it. The result preview updates live on the right.
Is my image uploaded?
No. The image is read and cropped on a canvas in your browser, then exported locally. Nothing is sent to a server, which protects your private photos.
