Frequently asked questions
How are addresses detected?
A regular expression spots “name@domain.ext” patterns. Duplicates are removed automatically (case-insensitive comparison).
Can I choose the output format?
Yes: separate by line break, comma, semicolon or space — handy to paste straight into a mail client or a spreadsheet.
Are malformed addresses ignored?
The tool only keeps patterns that look valid. Always review a list before any real send.
Is my data uploaded?
No. Extraction is fully local; no text or address is uploaded.
